How Termly Billing Works

School billing is aligned to the academic calendar — 1 term = 4 months. You pay once per term based on your enrolled student count.

Every school pays a one-time activation fee of ₦55,000. You can pay it upfront or skip it at signup — it will appear as a negative balance in your wallet (₦55,000 owed) and can be cleared at any time.

How does per-student, per-term pricing work?expand_more

Your bill is simply: number of enrolled students x the rate for your plan. For example, 100 students on Standard NGN costs ₦2,800 x 100 = ₦280,000 per term (every 4 months). Basic NGN: ₦900/student, Premium: ₦5,900/student. USD schools pay $7.50 (Basic), $15.00 (Standard), or $27.00 (Premium) per student per semester.

Why termly billing instead of monthly?expand_more

Schools operate on a term-based calendar — typically 3 terms per year of about 4 months each. Termly billing aligns your subscription to your academic calendar so you're not managing monthly renewals mid-term.

What happens when a term expires?expand_more

Your dashboard will show a countdown timer. When the term expires, your plan is paused and you can renew by funding your wallet and subscribing for the next term from the Billing tab.

Can I switch plans later?expand_more

Yes — you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Wallet & Billing tab in your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately for the current term.

Is the School Store add-on required?expand_more

No — the store is completely optional. It can be unlocked at any time for ₦35,000/year from your school wallet, available on all plans.
